Chicago Art Journal

The Chicago Art Journal is an annual publication, edited and produced solely by graduate students. Each year it aims to provide hands-on experience with an academic publishing process as part of graduate education, to acquaint students with the principles of editing and peer review, and ultimately to engender debate among students and across disciplines within the academic community by disseminating current graduate scholarship and promoting interest in the visual arts.

Funding for the Journal is provided by the Department of Art History and the Division of the Humanities at the University of Chicago.
