Classroom Technology & Lab Equipment
Classroom Technology Assistance
We can show you how to use the technology in Cochrane Woods Art Center classrooms. If you are teaching, leading a workshop, or acting as a course assistant in a CWAC classroom, you need to sign out a media cabinet key from the VRC. Keys are signed out for one quarter. There is a replacement fee of $2.00 for lost keys. Before you can use the classroom you must have an orientation session with either the Director or Assistant Director.
We also offer assistance with presentation software, such as Powerpoint. For self-guided instruction in Powerpoint and other digital imaging tips, click here.
Room Equipment
Each classroom is equipped with ceiling-mounted digital projectors, VHS players, DVD players, wall-mounted screens, and speakers. Each room also has dual 35mm slide projection capability.
Please note, currently the classrooms do NOT have built in computers or laptops. If you need to use a laptop, please make arrangements to bring one in for your class.
VRC Lab
The lab is equipped with four scanning stations where student workers
produce digital images for the art history collection. There is one station
in the slide collection room, open to art history students and faculty, with
a 35mm slide scanner. Assistance can be provided for using this scanner.
Please call or email for an appointment.
