Biography
Guadalupe Arévalo is a PhD student at the University of Chicago specializing in Aesthetics and Modern Art. Her research explores the intersection of philosophy and the avant-gardes of the 20th century in their quest for the absolute.
She received her BA in Philosophy from Universidad de Navarra and her MA from Universidad Complutense de Madrid. Before pursuing her PhD, she worked at Sotheby’s and at the Josef & Anni Albers Foundation as a Researcher for the Catalogue Raisonné of Josef Albers’ paintings.
