Are you interested in working in a museum after finishing your M.A. or Ph.D. program?  Join Christina Olsen (B.A. Art History ‘87), Director of the University of Michigan Museum of Art and Alison Gass, the newly appointed Director of the Smart Museum of Art at the University of Chicago, for a conversation on launching careers and achieving leadership roles in the museum world.  Olsen and Gass will discuss their career trajectories as well as the skills and qualities that they find most useful in their day-to-day work.  The conversation will be moderated by Christine Mehring, Art History Department Chair and Professor of Art History and the College.  Attendees will leave with a better understanding of how to best position themselves for this potential career path.  A reception with light refreshments will follow in the CWAC lounge.  Please RSVP in GRAD Gargoyle (Events > GRAD Events).
