Biography
Meghan Doyle is a dual PhD student in Art History and Religions in the Americas at the University of Chicago Divinity School. Her research considers the entanglements of religion, spirituality, and ​post-WWII art in the United States, specifically as they manifest in the environments, installations, and other cousins of the Gesamtkunstwerk across the 1960s counterculture. Prior to graduate school, Meghan trained as a Post-War and Contemporary Art specialist at an international auction house and held positions at the British Museum and the Frederick R. Weisman Museum of Art. Meghan holds an MA in the History of Art and Archaeology from the Institute of Fine Arts, with whom she excavated at the Sanctuary of the Great Gods on Samothrace, and BAs in Art History and Italian from Pepperdine University.
