Biography
Dilys Tam’s research explores the intersection of art and law in modern and contemporary visual culture, with a recent focus on the conceptual links between legal fictions and speculative fictions and their implications for property law as an artistic medium. She holds a Bachelor of Social Sciences (Government and Laws) and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Hong Kong, and a Master of Studies in History of Art and Visual Culture from the University of Oxford. Her legal training informs her academic and practice-based work. In addition to her scholarship, she is an active visual artist and creative writer.
