Biography
Ketaki Devani is a Ph.D. student specializing in medieval South Asian Art and Architecture. She graduated cum laude from UT Dallas in 2024 with a BS in Marketing and with major honors for a BA in Art History. During her undergraduate study, Ketaki has held internships at the Kimbell Art Museum. Her recent research addresses the expression of divinity through the physicality of Vijayanagar bronze idols of Parvati. Ketaki is interested in studying the socio-religious implications of political patronage of public water structures built between the 11th - 15th centuries in Western India.
