Zhongtian Li

Biography

Zhongtian Li is a PhD student of East Asian art history, focusing on the visual and material culture of China. He received his BA from Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts and MAs from Nanjing University of the Arts and SOAS University of London. His past researches varied from ancient bronzes to the medieval funerary art and Buddhist sculptures. He’s currently concerned with the cross-regional and cross-media issues through exploring the connection between religious art and secular art during the middle ages of China.
