Add to Calendar 2020-11-30 19:30:00 2020-11-30 20:03:00 The Everlasting Bloom: A Discussion with Curator Dr. Yen Chuan-ying Dr. Yen is an Adjunct Research Fellow at the Institute of History and Philology, Academia Sinica, Taiwan and curator of the exhibition "Everlasting Bloom: Rediscovering Taiwanese Modern Art," which runs at the Museum of the National Taipei University of Education (MONTUE) this fall. She received her Ph.D. in History of Art from Harvard University and previously served as the Director of the Graduate Institute of Art Studies, National Central University. She is the author of numerous books and articles on modern Taiwanese and East Asian art in both Chinese and English, and is the recipient of the Golden Tripod Award For Publication for her book 《風景心境——臺灣近代美術文獻導讀》 (Landscape and Mindset: Introduction to Documents of Early Modern Taiwanese Art, 2002). She has also received the Outstanding Research Award of the National Science Council and the Academic Award of the Taiwan Ministry of Education. Link to register.
