Biography
Zahra Syed is a PhD student in the Department of Art History at the University of Chicago. Her work explores early modern Italian architecture and its afterlives. Her research interests include transitional spaces, temporality, and relationships between architecture and other disciplines. She holds an MA with distinction in Art History, Curatorship and Renaissance Culture from the Warburg Institute and a BA with honours and distinction in Architectural Design and Visual Studies from the University of Toronto.
